On PIC, we talk extensively about the importance of improvement. We’re all about enhancing all aspects of business initiatives. For our core followers, you will notice that we add a new member after we survey the social media landscape and analyze our team to determine if we can make what’s already awesome even awesomer. Each year it gets tougher and tougher, and as we cover any deficiencies we may see, our requirements change.
But Sometimes…every once and a while, there is an individual that shows initiative – drive –determination – and a mastery of skills that cannot be denied. And when that happens– it just works. The individual that we’re talking about this time is Lexie Forman Ortiz.
Here’s a little background.
Lexie is the Social Media Community Manager for SmartRecruiters. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding social networks, online chats, SEO analysis and social recruiting from a slightly younger (Apple Generation) perspective. In addition to all of that, she is an exceptional blogger in her own right. She’s contributed to SmartRecruiters blogsite, PerformanceICreate.com and several other sites, including the Aristocracy of HR. Click here for examples of her work.
I asked Lexie about joining the team and here’s what she had to say, “When I started as an intern I researched bloggers in the HR & Recruiting space I could look up to. It was the PIC team. To think I’m writing with them is mind-blowing. It’s great to be considered an equal by the people you look up to, I’m excited to keep learning and add my voice to the team.”
She’s going to be just fine.
Welcome to BIG show Lexie!
